Performance by Chhandika: The Chhandam Institute of Kathak Dance. Kathak is one of the eight major forms of Indian classical dance and originates from Uttar Pradesh. It is a performance art where dancers tell stories through their hand movements, extensive footwork, and facial expressions. Chhandika will be performing, and providing information about the cultural and historical contexts of this art form. Enjoy and learn more about Kathak dance!
