Virtual Live Musical Trip Through America

Thursday July 2, 2020 7:30pm - 9:00pm

Virtual - Online

Details: As we celebrate the 4th of July holiday season, tonight we take a virtual trip throughout the country through live music and beautiful scenery.

New York City
West Virginia
Tennessee
Texas
Los Angeles
(and several more!

In an exclusive concert from celebrity guitarist Mak Grgic, we are presenting the first concert that will feature works of a different live song and style from multiple States in the USA. We will begin in New York City and virtually travel from East Coast to West Coast as Mak performs classical and modern pieces from different composers and songwriters. From Classical to Country, to Jazz, to Modern Hip Hop and more!

Interactively, you will help plot the trip! As we leave New York, attendees will collectively decide (or vote) on our next voyage, As Mak then plays a musician or composer from that home state, beautiful scenery and cultural images will be portrayed from that respective part of the USA. You will also get a chance to speak with Mac after each song about the composer before we “board” our virtual train to the next state.

About the performer: Touted as a “gifted young guitarist” by the New York Times, and “a guitarist to keep an eye on” by the Washington Post, Mak Grgic [GER-gich] is a star on the worldwide stage. An expansive and adventurous repertoire attests to his versatility and wide-ranging interests. From the ethnic music of his native Balkans to extreme avant-garde and microtonal music, his roles as soloist, collaborator, and recording artist are fueled by curiosity, imagination, and boundless energy.

All chatroom links and invitations will be sent out a few minutes before the event (to ensure only registrants attend). They will be sent to the email address you use to register for the event.
