Elf Adventures - Day 19

Did you miss me sitting here in the cabinet? I am all cuddled up in my blanket because when I flying back here from the North Pole in the very early morning I got caught in a snow squall. Squall is a funny word isn’t it? Do you know what the word squall means? Merriam-Webster, the dictionary, not the elf from Massachusetts, defines squall as a sudden violent wind often with rain or snow. The wind was so wild that I almost lost my hat. Good thing I fly in a group and we all made it through the squall together. 

After surviving the ordeal, I thought about visiting a family in the tropics for a day and sitting on the beach to thaw out, but I knew you would miss me too much. So instead, I decided to cozy up here with my blanket because I would miss you too much too. 

I love this blue blanket I have had it since I was a baby elf and I it always makes me feel warm and cozy. Do you have a special blanket or stuffed animal that makes you feel good? My friend Jingle O’Tattletale who lives in Utah has a well-loved stuffed kitten and Elf Dog has a stuffed elf he cuddles with in bed. (Isn’t that silly a stuffed elf?)
