Elf Adventures - Day 17

Riding in the car yesterday was so much fun! I couldn’t wait to tell my friends at the North Pole all about the adventure. 

They were so jealous because they were stuck in the house yesterday! Santa even said it was a treat to ride in the car because he usually has to travel by sleigh. Although his sleigh is really nice, Santa has always wanted a bright red pick-up truck.  

It is back to work today for a busy elf like me! I need to find the perfect cookie recipe with just 15 days left until Christmas Eve. The pressure is on!

I have asked my friends Santa Hat, Elfy and Dress what they thought Santa would like us to leave for Christmas Eve and they all had different answers. Santa Hat said “My friend Santa ONLY like Chocolate Chip cookies” but we all know that it is Santa Hat who ONLY likes Chocolate Chip cookies. Elfy said that Santa would like molasses cookies. I had to remind him about the molasses incident with our elf friend Boston last year. Elfy agreed that maybe it was best if we left those to the professionals. Dress said we should make healthy cookies with carrots and wheat germ. But Santa usually waits to start his diet until after the New Year. And of course, Elf Dog was no help at all he just knocked over the canister of sugar. Don’t worry I cleaned it up because. I am a good elf. 

So for the whole day am going to sit right here on the dinning room table and ponder the options for the best Christmas Eve cookie for Santa.
