Elf, check! Hey, wait a minute!!

OK, you got me.  Don’t get me wrong, I love Long Island and have made a whole lot of great friends here, but Holy Reindeer you put the heat up to 74 degrees, I may sweat myself into a coma.  You have to remember that wintry weather and snow is a year round occurrence for me and sometimes I need to cool off.  I appreciate that you Long Islanders like to walk around in your homes during the winter in tank tops and pajama pants, but an elf has to be true to him-elf and embrace the winter.  I’m not saying I’m ready to hang out in your freezer with the pints of ice cream (delicious!!) and the frozen pizzas but I didn’t pack any swimsuits or sunscreen.
