Elf Adventures - Day 3

Being an elf is a whole lot of fun, but sometimes especially around Christmas time it can be hard work.  I can’t believe in one short month it will be the most wonderful time of the year.  It’s important to love your work and there’s nothing I love more than getting presents ready to be delivered by the boss on C-Day (that’s elf-code for Christmas).  Now, don’t get me wrong…I’ve read all the elf-help books and they say even though you love your work and it’s definitely important, you need to take a little bit of time for some elf-care.  Just the other day I happened to bump into Mrs. Claus as she was coming out of her enormous pantry, her arms full of sugar and chocolate chips (Santa has a bit of a sweet tooth) she said to me “Oh Fick, you’ve been working so hard all year long, you need to take care of your-elf”.  Well, what kind of good elf would argue with a lady…not me!  I decided to dedicate today to a little elf-care and set out to unwind in the usual fashion.  That’s right, nothing soothes the elf bones like a brimming bowl of red and green M&Ms.  If you haven’t tried it I highly recommend it. They soothe the muscles, they smell delicious and the best part is you have a built in snack while you relax.
