I'll be honest, April Fools' Day is not my favorite day. I'm not a big pranker and I really do not like being pranked but I know I am in the minority! I did love the day last year because my kids were at cute ages (4&6) and they didn't quite get what made a funny joke or prank but said things that didn't make sense followed them with "April Fools".
If you are someone who likes to pull some harmless pranks, here are some ideas for you!
1. Put clear nail polish on the bar of soap in the shower so it won’t lather
2. Make “chocolate chip cookies” out of mashed potatoes and black beans! Recipe Here
3. Put an elastic band around the kitchen sink sprayer so they get sprayed when they turn on the sink
4. Put plastic bugs in the bathroom sink, or under the lamp shades, or anywhere else you can think of
5. Serve them donuts for breakfast made of our apple rings. Recipe Here
6. Put bubble wrap under the rug
7. Put a toy dinosaur in the mailbox and ask the kids to go get the mail
8. Put googly eyes on the containers in the fridge, or on anything really!
9. Put some food coloring on the sink faucet so colored water comes out of the faucet
10. Mix up the cereals by swapping the bags inside the boxes
